About the event
Come for a walk with me through elder trees, wild medicines and grasses.
This is an offering of my connection to and knowledge of plants and nature along Willow River/The Grand River. I have been in relation with and studying these plants and medicines for the past 20 years and this year, I began formally studying Herbalism through the Gaia School of Healing.
My own ancestors come from India, Tanzania, Ireland, Scotland and England. Along my paternal line plant medicines were used in many ways everyday.
It's my passion to take walks with folks and show them the magic of all of the plant life around us and I am extending this to my beloved community in this small group of about 10 people.
This session will be just over one hour long. Bring a water bottle, hat and bug spray if you'd like.
