3× JUNO Award Nominee · Canadian Screen Award Nominee · Award-Winning Producer · Former Berklee College of Music Professor · International Recording & Touring Artist
For more than fifteen years, Alysha Brilla has built a multifaceted career as an award-winning recording artist, songwriter, producer, composer and international performer. A three-time JUNO Award nominee, Canadian Screen Award nominee, award-winning producer and former Berklee College of Music professor, she brings to the Atelier something rarely found in traditional music education: the perspective of an artist actively engaged in the world of contemporary music.
Alysha’s approach to mentorship begins with curiosity rather than prescription. She believes the most meaningful artistic development happens when a young person feels that their ideas are genuinely seen, heard and taken seriously. Rather than shaping students toward a predetermined idea of success, she works closely with each artist to uncover what is distinctive about their voice, strengthen their creative instincts and give them the tools and confidence to bring ambitious ideas to life.
The Atelier offers young artists something Alysha considers invaluable in her own creative journey: sustained, personal guidance from someone who recognizes their potential and knows how to help them develop it.
